How Do I Put Voiceguide On A Different Pc

Hello, I purchased Voiceguide Enterprise over a year ago (I think its been a year) but have only been using it with one line because i have been using the way2call modem...

 

I just got my 4 channel dialogic card in the mail and set it up on a different PC (The old PC did not have available pci slots left)... I downloaded the voiceguide for dialogic onto the new computer and im testing everything currently...

 

BUT, when im ready to go live with this new PC (and dialogic card), how do i switch my old account to this new computer?

They sent me an email saying i have to pay for the license all over again but i get a 50% credit?????

This is not cool? maybe they misunderstood me...

 

I already have the enterprose license plus dialer which was expensive and that would be messed up if you are saying that since i got a new computer that now i have to purcahse the same exact thing all over??????

We got forwarded the email that you are referring to (is your first name on the VoiceGuide registration "Daniel" ?).

 

From email (and post here) we see that you currently have a single line Enterprise+Dialer license.

 

Are you upgrading that to a 4 line license to use with the 4 line card or do you want to continue using a 1 line license with the new 4 line card?

 

If you want a 4 line license then the upgrade rules apply (see bottom of this page: https://secure.voiceguide.com/order_vg.htm)

 

If you want to continue using a 1 line license then you will not be charged anything.

If you want to continue using a 1 line license send an email to sales@voiceguide.com and this time maybe explicitly mention that you want to continue using your existing 1-line license. Looks like before it was assumed that you want to get a 4 line license for your 4 line card.

oh ok i see.. yeah i got so confused tryin to set up the new dialogic that i didnt realize. ok i feel slightly stupid... just slightly. LOL

As an update to other readers of this thread:

 

Customer placed an order for a 4 line Enterprise+Dialer license.

The existing 1 line Enterprise+Dialer license they purchased 1 year ago for $249 will result in a credit of $125 towards the new purchase.
